This is a very sincere and grateul thank you to all the people that donated and chose to assisted my family, during our finanical crisis and our inabilty to pay an enoromous houshold bill. My husband had emergency quadruple open heart surgery on 1/6/2010,due to chest pains while he was at work. His cardiologist and surgeon were wonderful and have given him the go ahead to begin a 12 week cardiac rehabilitation therapy program, which will strengthen his heart and body in healing. We have a ways to go before he is fully recovered and able to return back to work. We are blessed as a family that he is alive. February 6, 2010 I would like to take this time to thank everyone at Modest Needs and all of those who gave to help my son and my self through this difficult time in our lives. It truly makes a difference in our lives. It makes a difference because with the donations and generosity of those who care about others, it will keep my son and myself with shelter. Just this past week my landlord had filed a eviction notice and had won. The judge had given me 3 days to find new housing, which is virtually impossible for one to do in such short notice. I had just about given up until I surrendered myself to God and checked my e-mail and seen the wonderful blessing that God worked through all of you who gave to help us. God being the Awesome father that he is influenced my landlord to continue to work with me. For that I will forever be grateful and humble. Because of you, the love and caring nature of others.
