I Work at Amazon & Care for My Animals. I Could Lose My Job If I Do Not Fix My Wind-damaged Car!
My Story:
I am a single woman with a 29-year-old son in the military. He is pursuing his pilot's license and has been passionate about flying since he was little. I am employed full-time at Amazon. Our family also consists of two cats, Smokey and Miss Bandit, and a 15-year-old horse named Jameson. I hope one day I can purchase a property with a barn and pasture, so he can be his happiest.
I have built a very stable life for myself, working tirelessly for my animals and I. However, as I was departing from my job at Amazon one night, a sudden gust of wind caused my truck's hood to fly open and violently collide with the windshield. Glass went everywhere and my truck got severely damaged. Then, the following day, my vehicle experienced brake failure, adding to the necessary repair costs. Despite filing a claim for the incident, my insurance provider declined to help me with the repairs.
I am seeking assistance from Modest Needs to cover the expenses associated with my necessary car repairs. My current financial situation does not allow for these repairs, but I also feel like I have no choice. Your help will allow me to buy groceries and care for my animals. This act of kindness will let me commute to work and therefore keep my job, preventing long-term financial hardship. Thank you for everything.
