Someone Hit Me While Driving Right After I Ruptured My Ankle. I Lost Work & Can't Pay Our Utilities!
My Story:
I am a single mother with two amazing children. My daughter is 8 years old; she has the most contagious smile and loves tumbling. My son is a 16-year-old honor roll student and athlete. We love spending time playing with our dogs Boss, Turbo, and Louie.
I was hired at my new job in April, and I'm excited to finally make enough money to pay my bills again. However, at the end of April, I ruptured my Achilles when I took a step backwards too quickly. Then, after leaving the doctor's office a few days later, someone T-boned me and totaled my vehicle. I have had to miss several days of work due to this, so I have not even been paid enough to cover my rent this month.
I am asking for Modest Needs' help with our utility and internet payments, so I can focus on my rent. After this injury and car accident, I have car repairs, medical bills, and more costly expenses to pay. I must choose between my rent, kids' needs, food, and utilities; it is getting harder to make these decisions every day. Your help will get us back on track with all our payments and get me through this period of strain. I will be able to heal emotionally and physically from these accidents, and we will not have to choose between our house or food. I will be back at work soon, so I will be able to maintain our expenses should something like this occur again. Your help would make a long-lasting impact on my family. Thank you.
