My Boyfriend & I Are Expecting a Baby Girl, but We Can't Buy Baby Supplies Due to This Medical Bill!
My Story:
My boyfriend and I are expecting our first daughter in November. I work full-time as a timekeeper at a mental hospital, and he works full-time as a maintenance worker at the city's housing authority. We live paycheck to paycheck despite our dual income, and it's very hard to save money or pay unexpected bills when we need to buy so many baby items.
A few months ago, I was feeling down, so I visited the clinic for a checkup and bloodwork. The bills associated with this one visit have put us in a real bind, and if I pay it, we will not be able to make our monthly payments. I'm scared this bill will head to collections soon, potentially harming my future.
I am asking for help with this medical bill, so my boyfriend and I can stay on top of everything. We will be able to buy all the necessary items to prepare for our little princess's arrival without the possibility of going into debt, and we would be so grateful for this act of kindness.
