I'm a Single Mom & Driver. I Had to Repair My Car to Keep My Job, so I Can't Afford Our Trash Bill!
My Story:
Hello! I am a single mom supporting her 3 kids. My children are very active in football, basketball, volleyball, and their academics. They are all honor roll students! For many years, I worked full-time in the logistics industry, but more recently, I started working as a full-time ride-share driver until I find the right job. Thankfully, I have been able to support my family with this income for the time being.
Things have been more difficult recently because my car ended up needing new brakes, tires, headlights, and alternator. Since my driving job depends on my vehicle, I had no choice but to repair it. I lost 2 weeks of income while it was getting repaired, and I am still trying to recover from that.
I would be so grateful if Modest Needs could help us with our trash disposal bill. I have barely been managing all our utility payments, and I just could not cover this one. They have stopped picking up our trash, and it is piling up outside our house. The company is even threatening legal action now. They have no financial hardship assistance programs or payment plans, so after the thousands I spent on fixing my vehicle last month, I am in a major financial bind. I am currently interviewing for full-time corporate sales positions to increase my income, and your generous assistance will give us the buffer we need for me to begin a new job. It would be a relief to have our trash services restored, so trash does not continue to pile up outside. Thank you so much for reading and giving if you can.
