My 6 Rescue Dogs Need Heartworm Medication, & We Can't Afford It! Please Help Us Keep Them Healthy!
My Story:
I am the only one with an income in our household. My boyfriend stays at home to take care of our 6 rescue dogs. Our pups are our life. We have one 3-year-old Husky-Lab mix, a 3-year-old Pit Bull, 3-year-old Anatolian Shepherd, 1-year-old Border Collie, and two 7-month-old Austrian Shepherds.
I am living paycheck to paycheck right now. My boyfriend is looking for a job and even has a few interviews coming up, so I know things will not be this strained for too much longer. However, my pups are needing prevention medications for heartworms, as it is summertime now. I know once my boyfriend can get a job, we will be okay. I just really need to make sure I am on top of my pups' health. I do not want them getting sick and then we find ourselves in extreme financial hardship, and I do think they could get sick or die without this medicine. We just are not within our means to cover the cost for all six of our pups right now.
We are asking for help getting our pups their necessary heartworm medication, so they are protected this summer. Your generous assistance will hold us over until my boyfriend finds employment and our financial situation stabilizes. We will be forever grateful for this potentially life-saving help for our dogs. We cannot thank you enough.
