My Daughter Had 2 Heart Transplants, Cancer, & More. Her Benefits Got Cancelled & Now We Can't Move!

My Story:

I am a single mother caring for my two adult daughters and two young grandsons. My 18-year-old daughter has faced immense adversity, having undergone two heart transplants already. She is also a cancer survivor, bravely battling Noonan Syndrome, hearing loss, vision issues, blood disorders, and scoliosis. My 22-year-old daughter is a victim of domestic violence and has also shown remarkable strength in her life. Alongside them, I care for my two grandbabies whose innocent smiles remind me why we keep going each day. As for me, I work as an Outreach Specialist.

Recently, my 22-year-old secured a job at Autozone, so she has really stepped up, buying us groceries and contributing to bills whenever she can. However, we faced an unforeseen setback when my 18-year-old's social security benefits were discontinued. I'm currently in an appeal case with them, but this has put a huge strain on our finances. Since the job market in our extremely small town is pretty limited, we are hoping to move to Texas to reunite with my son and our extended family.

I'm humbly seeking assistance purchasing a U-Haul for our relocation to El Paso, TX. My job prospects will be much better in Texas, and our family can provide some support for us through this time. This help ensures that we can take our belongings with us on this move. It also alleviates the burden of an additional expense during our journey. My 22-year-old daughter has already discussed the situation with her manager, and they have graciously agreed to allow her to transfer her job. This act of kindness means that we can go to a secure, stable environment for my grandchildren, and that is most important. Thank you so much for everything.
