I Have Cancer & My Daughter & I Are Devastated. I Lost Hours, so Now I Can't Pay My Car Note!
My Story:
I am a 48-year-old divorced woman raising my 12-year-old daughter and 2 energetic dogs. We love spending time together outdoors. My daughter loves playing soccer, and I work in the medical field as a claims representative.
We were very devastated to learn after a regular checkup that I have stage 3 breast cancer. My work hours have dropped significantly as a result, as I must start a very rigorous treatment plan. As you might imagine, my income and life have changed suddenly and dramatically. Although I know I can push through this for my daughter and I and eventually get back to full-time hours, I am barely able to scrape enough money together to keep my us housed. It is just impossible to stay on top of everything while working only part-time hours.
I am asking for help paying my car payment, as I am already behind and worry about getting to my appointments. It is absolutely crucial for my daughter and I to have a form of transportation; I don't know what I would do if I had to stop treatment. This help will take a tremendous weight off our shoulders and free us to pay other utility bills, so we do not endlessly need to catch up. This act of kindness will allow me to keep fighting this disease. It is so hard sometimes, but I just keep telling myself to keep pushing for my little girl. Thank you so much for thinking of us and giving what you can.
