After a Snow Storm Ripped Through My State, I Lost Work & Now We Could Lose Electricity!

My Story:

I am a single mother, and the father is out of the picture. My daughter is very responsible; she already wants to get a job! She loves reading and drawing.

After a recent snow storm in Tennessee, I was out of work for several days. The roads were too dangerous to drive on, and my boss said I should not come in. My check was significantly less because of it, so I fell behind on some bills unexpectedly. Thankfully, I was able to take care of our rent, but I fell short on our electric bill. I have already received a shut off date, and I am scared of my daughter and I having no power.

I am asking for this one-time help with our electric bill, so my daughter has a lit home to return to after school. This act of kindness would keep us from losing our services while the climate is still unpredictable here, and we would be incredibly thankful.
