I Work as a Delivery Driver to Get By, but My Car is Undrivable & I Can't Afford the Repairs!
My Story:
I am a divorced single woman working for under-served children, and I'm also a delivery driver on the side. I don't have children, but I do have some elderly animals I care for. I love animals and try to volunteer in the animal rescue community when I can.
Despite working two jobs, I struggle to get by. California's rent is very high, and my animals need expensive care since they are getting old. Recently, though, it feels like I have been drowning. I always pay my rent and utilities on time and ensure my animals get fed, but things got complicated after my car's brakes busted, and the transmission started leaking. I simply cannot drive until I get this repair, so I am already losing out on the income I get from my delivery job.
I am asking for assistance paying for my car repair, so I can continue working as a driver to supplement my income. Without doing delivery on the weekends, I would not be able to afford my usual bills let alone any additional expenses. This act of kindness will prevent me from experiencing a downward spiral of financial troubles, so I can care for my animals and stay on top of everything. Thank you so much for any help you can give.
