My Story:
I am a married mother of two boys with special needs, and I am a full-time teacher in a Maryland public school.
In mid-December, I had an unexpected medical emergency, that required I get surgery. I had to take unpaid leave from my job, so of course, this was hard on my finances. I am back to work now, but I am still trying to recover from the loss of income I experienced while getting and recovering from surgery.
I am asking for help with our rent, so my kids and I can stay safe in our home. My boys depend on our stable home environment, and this act of kindness will ensure it stays that way. This generous gift will allow me to move on from this medical emergency and get back to being a mom. Thank you so much.
