This person has left the following thank you note:

I want to just say first of all, Thanks, Thanks, Thanks to the wonderful donors who have heard the cries of my family for a while I often thought people would not respond to such an urgent matter for me especially and my family. Due to the problems not being their own, but for the donors who took the time out of their lives to look into mine, I sincerely Thank God for you and pray that you will be Blessed All The Days of your Life.

I'm a Dad of 7 and Battling Stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer. My Insurance Won't Cover My Exam Bills!

My Story:

I am a dad of 7 children, and I'm raising 4 grandchildren. My wife and I have been married for 34 wonderful years. All my kids are athletic and artistic; they spend a lot of time outdoors. I am a veteran and worked for the USPS for 12 years before getting diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer. I was in shock. I had to get chemotherapy along with radiation and other things.

I have fallen behind after my insurance could not cover all the bills from my tests, exams, and appointments. I was the only one working in our household, so this put a huge strain on us. My wife has been looking for work with no luck so far, but once she finds something, it will help.

I am humbly requesting help to pay two of my medical bills. Since I am out of work right now, I just do not have the means to pay for them. I am afraid that if these go unpaid, they will accumulate interest and affect my credit. I am on track to get social security disability, but it will not kick in until April. This assistance will help hold me over until then, and I would be so grateful. I could focus on my health and taking care of my family's needs. Thank you.
