I Became a Single Dad of 4 Recently & Am Still Adjusting. We Could Be Evicted!

My Story:

I am a single dad of four children: 2 boys and 2 girls. My 3-year-old son moved to South Carolina with his mom, so I meet her halfway each month to have him for a week. My kids love cheer-leading and are all very athletic. I am a career coach at a private day school and officiate sports like football and lacrosse.

After the separation with my youngest son's mom, I became the sole provider for three of my kids. Since losing her income in the household, I sometimes need to pick up more work to cover everything. My family has helped me out when I need it, but it is starting to affect their finances. There is only so much working I can do when I need to transport my kids to all their activities and be there for them after school.

I am asking for one-time help with my rent because I will come up short this month. I am worried that my landlord will not let me re-sign the lease if I fall behind, and we would have nowhere to go. This assistance will allow me to get ahead of my rent payments as I continue to recover from the separation. Thank you so much for your help.
