I'm a Single Mom of 2 & After an Emergency Surgery Pulled Me Out of Work, We'll Be Evicted!

My Story:

I am a mother of an 11-year-old and 16-year-old. I moved to Georgia a year ago after being displaced due to the pandemic.

I recently fell ill and had emergency surgery. I am currently out on short term disability, and it only covers some of my pay. It has put me in a real bind for this upcoming month's rent, as I always need my full paychecks to stay afloat.

I am asking for help paying this rent, so my kids and I do not have to leave right after we have gotten settled here. I can focus on my recovery and returning to work, so we can be stable again. Thank you so much.
