I Lost Work Due to On The Job Muscle Spasms, but I Wasn't Paid. I'm Facing Homelessness!
My Story:
I am a single, divorced woman, and even though I'm retired, I currently work at a grocery store to supplement my fixed income. I receive social security income and rely mostly on that to get by, but my paychecks are an important part of my budget, as I rely on them to make up the difference when unexpected medical issues or other bills come up.
This month I'm having a hard time covering my mortgage because of some muscle issues I've been having. These have left me with some costly medical bills, and they've also kept me out of work. Now, I can't make up the difference between my missed paychecks, my medical bills, and my mortgage, and I'm going to lose my home.
I am asking for assistance with my mortgage, please. I'm deeply afraid of losing my home, and this situation has led to me skipping doctor's appointments. My health is getting worse as a result, and I'm losing focus on taking care of myself. With that in mind, I would be eternally grateful for any support I receive with my mortgage, as it'll allow me to refocus on my job and on my health.
