I'm a Single Mom of 8 & Overcame Homelessness, but I Can't Repair My Car!

My Story:

I am a mother with eight (yes, eight) kids. Five of them are adults and three are still minors who live at home with me. My youngest three all vary in age, and so they attend different schools, which can be hard on our vehicle, which has quickly become a huge problem for us.

I'm employed full-time at an X-Ray company, and I'm enrolled in a medical assistance program as well. While I make enough to get by, we struggle with unexpected expenses and emergencies. So when our only vehicle broke down, I started to panic about how I was going to get my kids to school or about how I was going to get to work, for that matter. Our vehicle is drivable, and truly, I've been kind of gambling with it lately, as I've started driving for Doordash to raise money for the repairs. It's only a matter of time though before our vehicle gives out, and I'm no closer to being able to afford the repairs. So, please, we're asking for urgent assistance with getting our vehicle repaired.

This assistance would be so meaningful to me and my family because I'll be able to keep working and continuing my education, and I can make sure my kids all get to their respective schools on time. We would never forget the support we receive, and I promise, I'll find a way to pay it forward.
