I'm a Proud Single Mom of a Cheerleader & After Repairing Our Family Car, I Fell Behind on Rent!
My Story:
I am a single mom with one daughter who is seventeen and in her last year of high school. She is a cheerleader and would like to attend college next year. I work a full-time for the State of Florida and use my car to travel to 11 different counties. I have been divorced for over 5 years, and usually, I'm able to pay my rent even if it is late at times. My car needed four new tires and an air compressor, so I can be safe on the road. After this repair, I could not pay the rent on time, so it is now late.
We need assistance with our rent to get back on track. Thankfully, I was able to take care of my car note, lights, water, and groceries. The landlord has given me some wiggle room, but it is not enough. The eviction process will start soon even though she is showing me mercy.
This generous one-time help will bring our household current. My daughter is currently looking for a part-time job, so she can help with some of the bills, but I really do not want her to have to work while she is in school. I have put in several job applications to bring in extra income, and I have an interview coming up. We would be so grateful this assistance.
