I'm a Truck Driver, & My Semi Needed So Many Repairs That I Lost Hours. Now I Can't Pay Utilities!
My Story:
I am a married father of 5 children, and we care for my mother-in-law also. I am a full-time truck driver that drives from Ohio to New York City every night. It's a long and difficult trip, but it puts food on the table and keeps a roof over our heads.
Right now, we're struggling, and I am asking for help because my semi-truck has been going through a series of mechanical breakdowns. As a result, I have lost a lot of hours at work, and I am currently not making enough money to cover my family's expenses. Because I haven't been able to make my deliveries, we're dangerously close to having our water and power shut-off in the middle of winter. Please, we need assistance with our past due utility bills.
This one-time assistance with my family's electric/water bill would be a huge help. We are starting to get shut off notices, and in a matter of weeks, the utility company will follow through on these notices. This support would keep us going until I can get my hours back now that my semi has been repaired, and I know we can stay on track now. Thank you for your consideration and time.
