I Took in My Son's Friend & After Paying for My Son's Medical Bills, I Fell Behind on Utilities!
My Story:
I am a single mom with one son, and I recently took in my son's best friend. My 13-year-old son is full of energy; he's a boxer and has done some acting for the past 2 years. My newfound child is almost 14, and she is such a sweetheart. I love hanging out with them both, as we share nothing but fun and laughter.
I work full-time, and will be receiving my associates degree in June. I plan to further my education soon after in ordr to provide a better life for my family. I do earn enough to pay my bills but live paycheck to paycheck unfortunately. Due to our difficult financial situation, I had to pull my son out of boxing because I simply could not afford it. He also had a horrible infection (MRSA), and I am struggling to pay all his medical bills on top of the bills I already have. This financial strain has really taken a toll on us, and I'm afraid we're going to continue to fall further and further behind to the point where it's impossible to catch up.
This month, I was able to pay my rent; however, I am stuck now because I'm behind on our utilities and we're facing a shut-off. I've been making payments towards the medical bills, and that is what really caused me to fall behind. Please help us catch up on our power and water bills. We would be very thankful for this support, and i promise we will do what we can to pay it forward when we're back on our feet.
