I'm a Single Mom. My Kids & I Moved to a New State, & We Know No One. Now, We're Facing Eviction!
My Story:
I'm a single mom of two, and we are currently in a transition period as I go through a divorce. We had been married for 10 years. We recently moved to a new state, and we have no family here. I have been out of work since September, but I will be starting up again at the end of November. I won't be getting paid for a while, though, so my kids & I are struggling. I can't cover our rent this month, and we are terrified of eviction! This one-time help would mean so much to my kids & I. We are petrified of being out alone on the street with nowhere to go in a new city where we don't even know our way around yet. This would keep a roof over our heads until I start getting consistent pay again.
