I Have Blood Cancer & Lost My Sick Time. I Had to Repair My Fridge & Now My Water Will Be Shut Off!
My Story:
I am a single adult that has blood cancer. I have exhausted all my paid sick and vacation time (under my FMLA) at my job because I needed medical attention. I am asking for some help while I continue to get well enough to return to work. I had to repair my fridge with funds that were set aside for my monthly utilities. I had no choice but to repair my fridge if I wanted to be able to purchase and eat my groceries. Now, if my utility bills don't get paid, I will be without water. I really cannot let that happen because of my health condition.
This assistance would help relieve the mental stress that is negatively affecting my health. I won't be worried sick about having to leave my home. Once I return to work, I can rebuild my savings, so if an emergency happens, I can take care of it.
