My Family's Heat Pump Exploded & We're Drowning in Repair Bills! Help Us Pay Our Mortgage!

My Story:

I am a married father of 4 wonderful kids. We have 3 boys and 1 little girl. They are all so passionate and involved. I am a security guard, and my wonderful wife of 15 years is a 2nd grade teacher in a low-income school.

Last week, our heat pump had what the technician called a 'catastrophic failure'! The compressor exploded, and all of the Freon and oil blew out onto our walls, damaging it beyond repair. It was quite the scene. This, unfortunately, isn't covered by our insurance, so the whole unit must be replaced. We have no heat except for space heaters until we fix it. It is 31 degrees outside as I write this today, and it is only going to get colder. The space heaters take up a lot of power, so I dread the upcoming electricity bill. We could pay to get the unit replaced, but we would have to use our mortgage money.

We are humbly asking for help with our mortgage payment. This will ensure we stay on top of things and allow us to pay for our heat pump repairs. I'm looking for a second job, but it is difficult since I need to care for my daughter during the daytime. This would give our kids a warm bed to sleep in at night.
