I am in tears at this very moment. I am so grateful for the big hearts that assisted in my time of need. I'm a Social Worker Helping Low Income Families. I Lost My Second Job & Now My Ortho Bill is Behind!
My Story:
I am a single woman who works for the Department of Human Services. I work full-time and love helping low-income families, but I recently lost my second job which has taken a toll on my finances. It saddens me that I cannot help myself in the same way I help my clients. I enjoy painting, spending time with friends and family, and most of all, karaoke.
I am currently behind on my orthodontist bill, and they are threatening to terminate my services. I lost track of payments due to my financial issues. I have enough to cover my rent and other major bills, however, I really can't cover this orthodontist bill. If I can get current with this bill, it would relieve a lot of stress, and I would be able to continue paying the monthly orthodontist bill. I am afraid that if I do not pay for this, I will be forced to remove my braces. It will interfere with the health of my teeth and mouth and take a toll on me mentally. I am looking to obtain another source of supplemental income which will allow me to build up savings, but this one-time assistance will help me so much. It will relieve anxiety that I have been battling since losing my secondary source of income. Every time I look in the mirror and see the braces, I worry of not being able to maintain their care.
