I'm a Single Mom & Barely Get By. I Lost Work for a Month & Now My Son & I Will Be Evicted!
My Story:
I'm a single mom of my 7-year-old son who is in first grade. I work 3 days a week in 12 hour shifts at a group home with hospice residents.
To be honest, the cost of living is so expensive these days. I don't make enough money for rent, bills, or basic needs. I must juggle which bill will be late each month, so I am very tired of being stressed about bills. I was out of work for 4 weeks, and it has set me back tremendously on my rent. I already have a court date set, and I'm so worried my son and I will be evicted with nowhere to go.
This assistance funding will bring me current with my landlord again, and we will have somewhere stable to live. We will not have to worry anymore about being evicted, especially with the colder months approaching.
