I'm a Therapist & Medical Social Worker. After a Car Accident, I Can't Pay My Rent! Please Help!
My Story:
I am a dedicated, passionate therapist and medical social worker, committed to improving the lives of my clients and community. In my free time, I enjoy taking my dog on walks, exploring new outdoor spaces, and indulging in ice cream dates. These simple pleasures bring me happiness and help me recharge from the demands of my work, which can be mentally and emotionally exhausting.
Right now, my ability to help myself and do my job is being threatened by the fallout from a recent car accident. The accident caused significant damage to my car, and my insurance has a very high deductible. I had to get the car fixed because I depend on my car to do my job (I sometimes have to travel to clients) but paying the deposit put me behind on my rent. Before the accident, I was able to cover my necessities with some money left over each month. Now, for the first time in my life, I'm actually on the verge of losing my home.
My job is already mentally taxing. I can't do that job well while I'm constantly worried about whether I'm going to have a home to return to at the end of the day. That's why I'm asking for help from Modest Needs to catch up on my rent. Your help wouldn't just put me back on track financially; it would help me to do a better job serving my clients, which is the reason I feel I'm here in the first place.
