I Care For My Elderly Parents, but My AC Broke! My House is Growing Mold! Help Us Stay Healthy!
My Story:
I am divorced and work for the state of South Carolina. South Carolina does not pay much, so I have not been able to accumulate any savings in case of an emergency. My adult parents also live with me. They are from Ethiopia and unable to take of themselves. Recently, the air conditioner in my house broke down and now mold is growing inside my house. I can't afford the repair cost, and I don't want to lose my house or my health because of this.
This one-time assistance will save me from falling behind on my mortgage for fixing my AC and prevent any mold illnesses. The last thing I want is for my parents to get sick living in this kind of environment. I will be able to continue catching up on my other bills while living safely in my home. I would be so grateful for any assistance.
