I'm a Mom of 4 and Can't Pay For Our Car After Our Fridge and Toilet Broke Down!
My Story:
I am a married mother of 4 children and two dogs. My two youngest are still living in the home, and our dogs' names are Chase and Rosco. When I am working, my husband cares for my 11-year-old who suffers from autism, ADHD, and OCD. I have worked for the Red Cross for 9 years.
I earn enough to cover our basic expenses each month; however, I fell behind on my car payment for this year due to a few unexpected expenses. I returned from a vacation in July to a completely broken fridge; all our food was spoiled. I had to purchase a new fridge and replace all the food. I also had a plumbing emergency in July which cost almost $500 (my son flushed a book into the toilet).
After these expenses, it was hard to keep up with my bills, so I am behind. The bank is already calling and trying to arrange a payment plan. I cannot afford an extra car payment as my electric, house payment, and car taxes are all due by the end of the month. This one-time assistance with my car note will allow my family to get back on track after dealing with these home repairs. This kindness will allow my credit to remain unaffected and provide some much needed relief.
