My Story:
I am a single mother of 2 young children, and we survived domestic violence. I work at a bank and recently lost hours, so we are struggling to keep our home. My children love to laugh, play, and enjoy all the beautiful things in life. They never should have gone through something so devastating and traumatic.
I live paycheck to paycheck and now, with my loss of work, we have fallen behind on all of our bills. Unfortunately, I do not have any savings or other options. I am trying to keep the roof over our heads, the water running, and the electric on, so we can live in our home.
This one-time assistance would mean so much to my kids and me; we do not want to be forced onto the street. It is not safe for a single mom and children.
This kindness would help to bring our mortgage current and provide a stable home again for my kids. It would allow me to maintain our other bills and relieve our stress.
