I Lost Work After Getting Diagnosed With Degenerative Disc Disease. Help Me Go Back to School!

My Story:

I currently work as a part-time accountant, but I'm going back to school soon to train in aviation maintenance. I am so excited to learn these new skills.

Last summer, I was diagnosed with degenerative disc disease and had surgery to fuse together the discs in my neck. It was hard just sitting down, and I had to take 4 months off from work to recover. This experience is what inspired me to move in a different direction with my career.

I can cover my basic expenses with part-time work while I'm in school, as my financial aid covers all the school expenses other than the tool kit required for classes.

After school, I would like to work with drones. Based on research and conversations with people working in the industry, I can make more in aviation than I can in accounting. This one-time assistance with my required tool kit would be a huge help to launch my new passion for aviation and get me settled in school.
