I'm a Single Mom to 15 yr old Football Player. I Lost Work & Now Cannot Pay Rent!
My Story:
Hello. I am a single mom of a 15 year old son who is into sports. He loves hanging out with friends, playing video games, and playing football. I am a full time employee and soon to be attending college to finish my bachelors degree along with a certificate in Human Resources. I have been in the medical field since 2006, and now, I am ready for a change. My goal is to be a manager someday.
In early February, lost my job. I was not able to find a job until April when I got hired at a new job. The money I was making before was more than enough, but I fell behind on my bills and rent. I still am not caught up. It is almost impossible. I am really afraid of my landlord giving me an eviction notice.
This one-time assistance would allow us to be current on our rent. It is the the most important bill yet the most expensive. I have to make sure my son has everything he needs, keep food on the top, and our electric on.
This kindness would lift a heavy burden off my shoulders and bring peace of mind. I want to be able to focus on starting school soon for both my kids and I soon.
