I'm a Single Mom & My Car is Too Dangerous To Drive My Daughter in. Please Help Us Repair it!

My Story:

I am a single mom to a beautiful 14-year-old daughter. We have a very close relationship and there is nothing on this earth I wouldn't do for her. I work as a case manager in the field of addiction, so I am usually taking care of others. Now, I need help. My daughter is an honors student and enjoys dance. She and I love to do community outreach projects and help people suffering from addiction. We have a border collie mix who loves going on car rides and is a joy in our lives. We are a kind and loving little family of 3!

Recently, I had to deal with some hefty car repair expenses. It is most important that our car is safe to drive, so I can get my daughter to and from her dance classes, school, and therapy. I also very much need it to keep my job and be able to get to and from work. I work very hard, but I just don't make enough to cover such costly repairs unexpectedly.

My car needs a new windshield, a new control arm, and a realignment. I am not sure what will happen if I must choose between the car repairs, our rent, or our other bills. I fear the worst; losing my car or our house would be devastating to my daughter and I.

This one-time assistance would help my family immensely. I would feel comfortable driving my precious daughter to her activities because I know my car got all its repairs. It is very hard for me to reach out for help, but I know we need it. I would just be beyond grateful for any assistance at this point. With this kindness, our car will pass its inspection in September, and I could cover our rent, too.
