Words can't express how much your donation means to me and my family. I am a Mom of 3 and a Special Education Teacher. We are Behind on Rent and May Soon Be Homeless!
My Story:
I am a mother of three and 4th year special education teacher for Chicago Public Schools. I have a 16-year-old son with autism who amazes me every day, and he wants to be a famous Youtuber. I also have a 9-year-old year son who loves to build. My 6-year-old daughter has quite the personality! I also care for my cousin who is a college student; his mom is an alcoholic and she recently relapsed causing her to lose her home.
Since I am a teacher, my hours are part-time in the summer. Between inflation and the cost of living, my finances have been tight, and unfortunately, I fell behind on rent.
If I don't get ahead on my rent, I will fall behind on other bills or become homeless with my children. This one-time assistance with my rent would help us get back on track. Once the school year begins, and I get my regular pay, I will be in a better financial situation. This kindness would mean so much to us.
