I Had To Choose Between My Car Repair And Rent. Now I'm Facing Eviction. Please Help!
My Story:
I am a single woman working full time at an insurance company. When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my family and working on projects. I recently was promoted to a new position which required me to commute to the office twice a week. Prior to this, I was working 100% remotely at home, so my car was not an issue.
Sadly, after 2 months of commuting, my car shut down on me, and I had to spend a lot to get it running again. I was not in a position where I could buy a new car, so I used almost all the money I had to repair it. I have been trying to make ends meet ever since, and now it is getting really hard. Resources in my area are very limited, and the car repairs put me so behind that I can barely pay my other essential bills on time.
I need the most help with my rent. I got behind last month, and now I am at risk of eviction because I am 30 days past due into another rental month. I am doing all I can, but I am really at a dead end. I am worried about what will happen to me if I do not pay my rent soon. This one-time act of kindness would get me back on track financially. I can start budgeting again and working on my goal of buying a home.
