I Am A Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother. I Am 3 Months Behind on Rent!
My Story:
I am a 76-year-old mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. I am blessed with 5 children, 8 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren. I have lived alone in my apartment for 23 years on my social security and pension, and I am grateful that it is very peaceful. I can keep up on rent and bills when I am penny pinching, but a recent rent increase has made it more difficult. I am three months behind on rent, and on top of that, my dryer broke. My landlords do not allow clothes lines outside, so it is a mess. I'm praying I can get back on track with paying my bills. I am really in a bind, and this act of generosity would be a huge weight lifted off my shoulders. I am fearful of what may happen if I am unable to get back on track with my rent. We are all feeling the effects of everything going on in the world, but this kindness would remind me of how much empathy there is, even when times are difficult for everyone. God bless you.
