We're Behind on Our Electric Bill After Losing Our Home During a Medical Emergency!

My Story:

My name is Jennifer, and my husband's name is Joel. We are a young married couple who have been together for two years. I work as a medical technician, and my husband is a mechanic. We both work full-time, which enables us to cover our basic bills. However, we recently encountered a financial setback.

Our apartment unexpectedly raised our rent in the new lease without our knowledge, and it was auto-renewed for us. As a result, our monthly rent increased from $1,645 to $1,745. Additionally, due to a temporary financial hardship, we incurred an $80 late fee, further exacerbating our financial difficulties. Then, in December, I underwent an emergency appendectomy, which required me to take time off work and incur medical expenses. This unexpected event put an additional strain on our finances, making it even more challenging to meet our obligations. As a result of the rent increase and mounting debts, we were unable to sustain our apartment and were forced to move in with our family. Despite this change, we still have outstanding bills from our previous residence, particularly our PECO bill. We are concerned that further delays in payment will result in additional fees and jeopardize our ability to access essential services when we find a new place to live.

With that in mind, we are very humbly reaching out for financial assistance to help us overcome these challenges. Any support provided would greatly alleviate the burden we currently face and prevent our debts from escalating further. Our ultimate goal is to achieve financial stability and regain control over our circumstances, but we desperately need help to do that.
