I'm a Single Mom Trying to Support My Family. We Desperately Need Help Repairing Our Vehicle!

My Story:

I am a single mom to three amazing kiddos. Two are currently in college (one away and one at home), and my youngest is in high school. We are a close-knit bunch and love spending time together, especially outside in nature.

I currently work part-time for five different companies. I recently made the decision to go back to school for the betterment of myself and my family. It's been harder to juggle family, work, and school, and it's forced us to live on a very tight budget. Over the past 6 months, I have put close to $2500 into my car for repairs, which I have had to put on my charge card since money is just so tight. A few years ago, I was told that I needed new shocks, and that they could only be done at the dealership. When I took it in for an estimate, I was shocked that it was close to $4,000. I definitely didn't have the money for that, as we mostly live paycheck to paycheck. We are now at the point that the repairs need to be done because it is affecting the safety and stability of the vehicle. I have since changed mechanics, and he can do the repair, but it is still much more than I can afford right now. I don't like asking for help, but for the sake of my family and our stability, I'm humbly asking for assistance.

My car is in desperate need of new shocks and a new suspension kit. Because of this issue, it affects the vehicle's stability and traction control. If I don't receive this assistance, I am not sure what we will do. We need a safe car. With that said, this assistance would be a true blessing. I work really hard as a single mom for my family, but sometimes the ends just don't meet. When we are faced with unexpected bills like this, it makes it extremely difficult to see the light at the end of the tunnel. I would be so appreciative of this help, and it would be wonderful to feel safe in our car again. As a family, we do what we can to help the community around us, but sometimes you need to be open to accepting help too. We would be forever grateful for this assistance.
