Hello my name is Te'ana, I wanted to leave a note just to say thank you to everyone that donated to help me. I Appreciate everyone who donated to assist me. I have been homeless for the past 9 months because I was diagnosed with uterine cancer last year & my doctor recommended emergency surgery which left me unable to work for four months, as a result I was evicted from my home. After Recovering from Cancer, I Lost My Home. I Found a New Home; Please Help with 1st Month's Rent!
My Story:
I am single with no children, and I was diagnosed with uterine cancer last year, causing me to be out of work for three months. As a result of being out of work, I was evicted from my home. I have been residing in a hotel since September of 2022 because I was unable to pay rent while recovering from surgery. Recently, I was approved for permanent housing, and I was able to pay my security deposit, but I need assistance with the first month's rent so that I can finally move into a permanent home and put this instance of homelessness behind me.
I'm so close to getting back on my feet and putting all of the hardship that I've faced in the past few months behind me. My battle with cancer was very difficult, and it left me with a lot of pieces to pick up, so to speak. I have put my best foot forward and worked hard to get back into stable housing. I'm one step away from that goal now, and so I'm very humbly asking for assistance with my first month of rent.
Getting back into a permanent home would be a huge step for me, and I can't even begin to put into words how grateful I would be for this support. With a place to call home again, I'll be able to rebuild, work hard, and pay the generosity that I'm shown forward again. Thank you all in advance for this assistance and for your consideration and generosity.
