I've Been Staying Home After Giving Birth & We Need Help with the Medical Bill Please!
My Story:
I'm a married mother, and my husband and I have a beautiful 11-month-old baby at home. My husband recently retired from military service, but he still works part-time when he can. Since our child was born, I have been a full-time stay-at-home mom so that I can take care of the baby. As a result, we get by mostly on the fixed income that my husband receives from the VA.
I have been staying at home since I was 4 months pregnant because that's what the doctor recommended due to me being a high-risk pregnancy. We're able to get by while living on a fixed income, but we have trouble handling expenses that are outside of our normal budget. Right now, we're facing a huge hospital bill from when I gave birth to our baby, and we can't cover this alongside our monthly bills. The bill will be sent to collections soon, and so I'm very humbly asking for assistance with covering it before that happens, as it will ruin our credit and overall financial situation if it goes to collections.
Getting this bill taken care of will relieve a huge burden from my young family, and I would be truly grateful for that. We'll be able to use this as an opportunity to get back on stable ground. I'm going to start working part-time as soon as I can find suitable childcare, and once I do that, we'll be able to build up savings to deal with situations like this. I the meantime, I want to thank everyone who offers us support with this medical bill.
