I Was Wrongfully Terminated from My Job, I Need Help Keeping My Car!
My Story:
I am a survivor of domestic violence, and I recently had to relocate, and I don't really have anyone here. I'm on my own, and I'm supporting myself by working full-time. However, I recently lost my last job because I was experiencing harassment from my supervisor. When I reported it, I was promptly terminated, and it took me a long time to fight to clear my name. Thank goodness, I was able to start collecting unemployment after I was terminated and cleared of wrongdoing in my firing. That kept me going for a while I searched for a part-time job.
Since I was terminated, I've found two part-time jobs that have kept me afloat for the most part. Still, I haven't had the means to catch up from the gap in employment that I faced. I'm searching for a full-time position that will put me in a better financial situation, but that process has been slow. In the meantime, I'm months behind on my car payment, and I desperately need assistance with catching up.
I'm very humbly asking for assistance with catching up on my car payment, as I rely on my vehicle to get to and from work, and I rely on it to maintain my independence, which is very important to me after fleeing abuse. With this support, I'll be able to keep working part-time while also continuing my search for full time employment. Thank you in advance for this generous support, and I promise that I will find a way to pay it forward in the near future.
