After Treating My Depression, We're Struggling to Cover the Mortgage Due to The Medical Bills!

My Story:

I'm a single mother of two, a daughter who is 14 years old and a son who is 9 years old. I work full-time to support myself and my children, and I'm currently employed as an enrollment clerk for an insurance company. My job pays enough for us to get by, but I have been in treatment for stress and depression, and the cost has been very high.

Receiving mental health treatment can be tricky, and often, I don't know how much of the treatment my insurance is going to cover until after the fact. The copays I've had to cover have continued to rise despite my premiums also rising. Right now, I'm trying to find a way to make my treatments more cost effective, but the bills I've received are overwhelming us, and I'm struggling to cover some of our monthly bills as a result. With that said, I'm humbly asking for assistance with our mortgage for this month so that I can keep up with my insurance bills until I can find a more cost effective solution for treatment.

We're barely scraping by right now, and it feels like a new medical bill arrives every day. We can't keep up with everything, and I'm worried that without help it will cost us our home. I need to recuperate somehow, and I am trying to avoid refinancing my home at this time. I don't have great credit either, so I don't qualify for a personal loan, and who knows if I qualify to refinance my home even. We are backed into a corner now, and we're desperate for a way out. Truly, we would appreciate this support, and I promise that we will do our best to pay it forward when we're able. Thank you.
