WOW, this idea started aa a pipedream and a google search. The fact that something this beautiful exists and people as beautiful as you are still around, gives folks like me hope. We have all hit a skid once or twice in our lives and just need a flotation device to get us through. You are my flotation device and you are the reason I am able tk get to afloat. thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I'm Caring for My Parents & Can't Afford to Replace My Tires! Please Help.

My Story:

I am a single man, and I uprooted my entire life in Boise, Idaho to move to Sun City West to help my parents and eventually get my own place. It turned out that my parents required much more help than I had anticipated, and I have been here helping them get through their everyday life for the past 6 months. My mother is 70 years old and is battling a pretty debilitating sickness which rendered her unable to pursue her passion, and so she lost her job. My father is 68 years old and is in and out of rehab with severe addiction and mental health issues. I am the glue of the family and always have been. My parents know this, and they lean on me heavily for support, especially when it comes to our finances. They are my parents, and I love them with every part of my being. Truly, I will do anything for them, but my funds are tapped, and we're in a very precarious position financially.

Our budget has been stretched thin. Still, I'm able to pay most of our bills, take care of the house and take care of my parents. I have had really good luck bartending since I can work well after they are asleep, meaning I can work at night and help them during the day. However, recently on my way to work my back left tire exploded going 80 mph, and I really almost died. After getting my car towed and then evaluated at the place I got my tires at, it turns out that all my tires are 'too dangerous to keep driving on.' So, my vehicle is undrivable, but I don't have the means to cover these repairs on my own.

Covering all these expenses for my family on my own and on a bartender's salary isn't really plausible. I was already on such a razor-thin line that an expense like this absolutely blasted me into the red. I have some good shifts/concerts coming up this week that should help, but having assistance with replacing my tires will be a game changer in not just my finances, but in my confidence in our situation as a whole. Thank you in advance for this assistance.
