I'm an Iraq War Veteran Struggling to Cover My Rent After Losing my Full-time Job! Please Help!

My Story:

I'm an Iraq War veteran, and I served in operation Enduring Freedom. I enjoy writing and listening to music. I also love to travel and meet new people from different cultures, as well as trying new foods from various cultures. My career field is in human resources, and specifically, in talent acquisition which I enjoy very much. I have no pets, but I'm considering adopting a dog in the future. I love animals, and I especially love dogs!

I have recently been diagnosed with depression and PTSD. I have managed, for the most part, to keep full-time employment, but due to my contract position ending in late 2022, I have had difficulty finding a good match with an employer since that contract ended. This is a stressful situation for me even though I am still working part-time. My income isn't what it was while I was working full-time, and I'm struggling financially. I have been applying to companies regarding full-time employment, and I do have upcoming interviews scheduled, I'm staying positive and hopeful. However, I'm currently behind on my rent, and I'm going to come up short again this month. Unless I can find assistance, I will lose my home.

I'm very humbly asking for assistance with my rent. Truly, this support would do so much to help me in every facet of my life. Financially, I'll be in a much better position to continue to search for work, but beyond that, I'll be able to keep my mental health in check. For both of those reasons, I'm very grateful to everyone who lends me a hand and to those who take time to read my story as well. Thank you all in advance.
