My Daughter & I Fled Domestic Violence & Need Help Covering Medical Bills!
My Story:
I am a single mother with an autistic young daughter. We recently left my child's father due to a domestic violence incident a few months ago where I almost lost my life. A few months before that incident, one of his good friends was in a tragic accident where his girlfriend died, and he survived. We let him stay with us to help him get on his feet, but during the domestic violence incident, he was also assaulted. When I moved out, I brought him with me so he wouldn't be homeless, and he's still trying to get back on his feet. I had to take out a couple loans to afford the expenses to move and buy all new furniture, clothes, etc. for us. Those loan payments have my living paycheck to paycheck.
Recently our car broke down, and that put a major strain on us financially at a time where we were already struggling. I was unable to have any savings set aside due to the circumstances involving domestic violence and having to move out of my child's father's home. After paying to repair our vehicle, I'm struggling to afford other bills that have piled up. Right now, I have two outstanding medical bills from the domestic violence incident, and I can't afford to cover those. They're going to be sent to collections soon, so I'm very humbly asking for assistance with those bills before that happens.
I'm struggling to cover these two bills, and if they're sent to collections, we'll be ruined financially. However, with this assistance, I'll finally be able to focus on building a better future for my daughter and I after suffering from domestic violence. Truly, we would be so grateful to everyone who helps us reach the next chapter of our lives. Thank you.
