If I Lose My Vehicle, I Won't Be Able to Get to & From My Cancer Treatment Appointments!
My Story:
I'm a single woman living all on my own in Florida now. I decided to move here after I lost my job and both of my parents within 6 months of each other. I needed to start over after going through that, and it's been more difficult than I had imagined it would be. This is mostly because within 6 months of moving here I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I've been trying to get established here, and I'm really grateful for my coworkers and my cat, but it's been difficult still, especially without any family nearby.
While I'm employed full-time, because I'm undergoing chemotherapy and surgery, I haven't been able to work full-time hours in months. As a result, I've fallen behind on some of my bills. I'm working hard to try to get caught up, but I've also started to receive medical bills, and my insurance deductible is very high. Most of what I have coming in is going towards food, keeping a roof over my head, and medical bills. As a result, I can't get caught up on my car payment, so I'm very humbly asking for assistance with this bill so that I don't lose my only means of transportation.
Without my car, I'll struggle to keep my job, but more than that, I'll have a lot of difficulty getting to and from my cancer treatment appointments. I'm worried about the impact that losing my vehicle would have on my health and on my financial stability, so I would be very relieved and grateful for any assistance I receive with keeping my vehicle. Thank you.
