After A Divorce, We're Living Paycheck to Paycheck & Need Help Repairing Our Only Vehicle!
My Story:
I'm a recently divorced mother of three. My 18-year-old plays basketball, football, runs track, and hopes to earn a scholarship to college through athletics. My 15-year-old daughter spends her time in color guard, and my 13-year-old son is a gamer. As for myself, I retired from the military in 2018, and last year, I went through a divorce. I am gradually trying to learn to live as a single parent with one income, and it's been very difficult for me and my children.
Going down to one income has been incredibly difficult for us, and it's forced us to live from paycheck to paycheck. Right now, I can't manage anything unexpected, and recently, our only vehicle broke down. It needs fairly major repairs, and I can't afford those right now, so I'm very humbly asking for assistance with repairing our vehicle.
We rely on this vehicle for everything, and most importantly, I rely on it for work every day. I can't afford to sacrifice any of our other bills to cover this expense, but without our vehicle, we're going to start to fall behind elsewhere. We're really stuck right now, but with this help, we'll be able to get out of this difficult situation. I'll be able to keep working hard to provide for my family, and I'll be able to continue adjusting to life as a single parent. Truly, we would be very grateful for this assistance, and I promise that I will find a way to pay it forward in the near future.
