A House Fire Destroyed a Lot of Our Belongings! Please Help Us Recover!

My Story:

I'm a recently separated mom, and I have a 13-year-old daughter who I support on my own. I'm a family therapist, and I work very hard to provide for my daughter. She's an incredible person, and she's so creative and funny. We love spending time together cooking and watching TV.

The hardship that my daughter and I are currently facing is due to a fire in our apartment complex. The fire started in our neighbor's unit and then moved to ours. It destroyed a lot of our belongings, and it's been very costly and difficult to replace those because our renter's insurance had lapsed at the time of the fire. Prior to the fire, I was already struggling financially because of the fact that I lost my job in August of 2022. Since then, I've found a new job, but the fire has really hindered us. In fact, in order to replace a lot of our essentials, I had to sacrifice covering our car payment for two months, and now, we could lose our vehicle. So, I'm very humbly asking for assistance with catching up on those payments so that we can keep our car and get back on our feet again in the wake of the fire that destroyed most of our belongings.

Getting our car payment current again would do so much to put us back on our feet again after going through that devastating fire. I'll be able to keep our only vehicle, and I can focus on providing for my daughter and rebuilding our home. For that, I would be very grateful, and I promise that I will find a way to pay the kindness we're shown forward.
