I'm Struggling to Cover an Abnormally High Electric Bill! Please Help!

My Story:

I am a mother of two girls, and I'm married to a wonderful man. We are working on my husband's green card, which is very expensive and time consuming, but we remain hopeful. I work as a math teacher, and I love my job and my students. In addition to our children, we have a dog, cat, and a giant Flemish rabbit who is the size of a small dog. Truly, we're huge animal lovers, and we love spending time with our pets. Before now, we have been living all over the place, but after having two babies in about a year, we moved back to Pennsylvania because my parents are here, and we need their support. Right now, my husband is having to travel back and forth constantly due to his green card issues, so he isn't able to hold a job. We rely solely on my income to get by, and while it's enough we struggle with emergencies like the one we're facing now.

This month's electric bill caught us really off guard. I don't know why but it increased by about seven times what it normally is, and I can't understand the reason for it. We're having inspectors come out to solve the problem, but the bill for this month was over $700. While I don't know what's causing the issue, I know that something is wrong because our bill and our meter's reading is much higher than it normally is. Like I said, I'm the sole-provider for my family, and we live paycheck to paycheck, so I can't cover this massive electric bill on my own.

I'm very humbly asking for assistance with this abnormally large electric bill. I'm working on getting to the root of the problem, but in the meantime, I don't want to fall even further behind on my bill because I won't be able to catch up if that happens. This assistance would get us out of a very difficult spot, and it would allow me to get back to current with everything while I figure out what the problem with our electricity service is. Thank you.
