I Was Diagnosed with Diabetes & Can't Return to Work Till March! Please Help Us Keep Our Lights On!
My Story:
I'm married to my lovely wife of 20 years, and we're a very happy family. I work full-time as a truck driver, and my wife is retired. We both love the outdoors, spending time looking at God's creation within this beautiful country. My wife and I have also been blessed with five wonderful grandchildren who we love so much!
I have been diagnosed with type-2 diabetes, and as a result of that diagnosis, I've had to take a lot of time off of work to seek treatment. Without my regular hours and with new medical bills, we're really struggling to cover our bills. I haven't been able to return to working full-time, and I don't know when I'll be able to. To be honest, we're drowning in terms of our bills, and we desperately need help to get back above water. Specifically, we're two months behind on our utilities, and we're very close to having our service shut-off.
I'm very humbly asking for assistance with our utility bills so that we can weather the storm we're facing right now. I'm doing my best to manage my diabetes, but I won't be able to get back to work for at least a few more weeks, possibly even another month. We can't afford to have our utilities shut-off, as it will get us even further into a hole financially because we won't be able to remain in our home. My wife and I would be deeply appreciative of this assistance with our utility bills, and I promise that we will find a way to pay this very generous assistance forwards.
