We're Struggling to Cover Our Gas Bill & Need Help Before Our Service is Disconnected!
My Story:
I am a married mother of three. Our two older children are grown and out of the house, and we have a wonderful 16-year-old daughter who is starting college in the dual enrollment program this semester. We're very proud of her and are looking forward to seeing how she does in college classes this semester.
We're a one income family, and we're normally able to cover our expenses from month to month, but we tend to live paycheck to paycheck like many other families. Only one of us is working because we made the decision to home school our daughter. We feel like it's been very good for her education and growth, but it has led us to be a little less stable financially than we would have liked. As prices have risen across the board, our family has struggled to keep up, and now we're behind on one of our major expenses, our gas bill. We're facing an imminent shut-off to our service, and so I'm very humbly asking for assistance with this bill because we don't have the means to cover it on our own.
Assistance with this bill would put us back on track almost immediately. Going forward, we're planning to have both of us working now that our daughter is going to be out of the house for her classes more often. That will definitely help us prepare for emergencies. In the meantime, we would be deeply appreciative of this assistance, and I promise that we will find a way to pay it forward in the near future. Thank you.
