After A Gap in Employment, I'm on the Verge of Losing My Home & Having to Drop out of School!

My Story:

I'm a single adult, and I'm a full-time student. I'm currently studying to get my degree in nursing so that I can finally advance in my career. Currently, I'm a CNA, and I've been doing that for about 6 years now, but I haven't had the opportunity to advance in that role because I lack the degree necessary to move up. I'm excited to finally be on the right track towards advancing in my career, but a short-term hardship has caught me off guard and is threatening to put me off track.

A little while ago, I was unexpectedly let go of from my job. I really enjoyed the position, so it was a hard thing to swallow when I was laid off. I went through a brief gap in employment, but I eventually found part-time work contract work. My income is significantly less than what it was, and so I'm struggling to keep up with all of my bills. Currently, I'm two months behind on rent, and I'm facing an imminent eviction as a result.

I'm humbly asking for assistance with getting current on my rent again so that I can keep my home and stay in school. If I can get caught up, I'll be able to handle all of my bills from here on out because it was really the gap without pay that I experienced that put me behind. I'll have to work with a tighter budget, but I can manage if I can get caught up. My school semester begins very soon, and if I'm able to get this help, I'll head into the semester with much-needed peace of mind and financial stability. Truly, I will never forget the people who gave me this opportunity to continue to further my education and my career. Thank you all.
